Feeling sorry for celebrities is generally about as ridiculous as this video but this week, when private photos of them were stolen and leaked onto 4chan, I felt pretty glad to be a nobody.
Nude pics and videos of about 100 slebs, including Jennifer Lawrence, Scarlett Johansson, Rihanna, Kate Upton, Kim Kardashian, Mary Kate Olsen, Cara Delevingne, Kate Bosworth, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens and Kirsten Dunst are apparently knocking about the internet.
These women didn’t release them – some grubby little perv/s hacked into their personal accounts and decided it would be funny to publish them. The FBI and Apple are investigating.
I couldn’t help but think anyone hacking my personal accounts would be sorely disappointed – unless they have a fetish for pictures of the English countryside, pictures of particularly nice-looking chocolate or pictures of my niece attempting to show me how to take a half-decent selfie.
Anyway, I know people love seeing naked people (boobs! boobs!) but I was pretty disappointed with all those tweets going ‘yay, it’s masturbation o’clock’ so I wrote this blog for Metro.co.uk.
And, no, I don’t think stealing and posting unauthorised nudes of Channing Tatum would have been ok either.
